
RETURNS POLICY – TRASIDO
This Returns Policy governs the conditions under which products purchased through the Trasido platform may be returned. This Policy applies in conjunction with the Terms & Conditions and is drafted in accordance with applicable European Union and Slovenian consumer protection legislation.
1. Scope of Application
This Returns Policy governs the conditions, procedures, and rights relating to the return of products purchased through the Trasido platform. The Policy applies to transactions involving both physical goods and digital products offered through the Platform and is intended to ensure transparency and compliance with applicable European Union and Slovenian consumer protection legislation.
The application of this Policy depends on the identity of the supplier responsible for the product or service purchased through the Platform. Products and services available on Trasido may be offered either by independent third-party sellers or directly by Trasido, operated by AC/DC d.o.o. The responsible supplier for each transaction is clearly identified on the relevant product listing and order confirmation.
Where products are sold by independent sellers, such sellers are solely responsible for handling return requests, refunds, exchanges, and compliance with applicable consumer protection obligations relating to their products or services. Trasido operates as a technical marketplace platform and does not act as the contractual seller in such transactions, except where explicitly stated.
Where products or services are sold directly by Trasido, AC/DC d.o.o. acts as the legal seller and processes returns in accordance with applicable European Union and Slovenian consumer protection laws, including statutory withdrawal rights and product conformity obligations.
This Returns Policy applies only to purchases completed through the Trasido platform and does not limit or exclude any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived or restricted under applicable law. In cases where national or European legislation provides additional consumer protections, such legal provisions shall prevail over this Policy.
The detailed return procedures, refund mechanisms, and shipping obligations may vary depending on the nature of the product, the identity of the supplier, and the applicable legal framework governing the transaction. Buyers are encouraged to review the relevant seller conditions, product descriptions, and applicable policies before completing a purchase.
2. Returns of Products Sold by Independent Sellers
Where products or services are offered on the Platform by independent third-party sellers, such sellers act as the legal suppliers and are solely responsible for handling all return-related matters, including the assessment of return eligibility, acceptance of returned products, processing of refunds or exchanges, and compliance with applicable consumer protection obligations.
In such transactions, the contractual relationship regarding returns and refunds exists exclusively between the buyer and the independent seller. Trasido, operated by AC/DC d.o.o., provides only the technical infrastructure enabling communication and transaction facilitation between buyers and sellers and does not act as the seller, agent, or representative of independent sellers for the purposes of return processing.
Buyers wishing to exercise their statutory right of withdrawal or request a return in relation to products sold by independent sellers must contact the relevant seller directly using the communication tools made available on the Platform. Independent sellers are required to comply with mandatory European Union and Slovenian consumer protection legislation, including provisions governing withdrawal rights, product conformity, warranties, and refunds, where applicable.
Any additional or voluntary return conditions offered by an independent seller, beyond statutory requirements, must be clearly communicated to buyers prior to the conclusion of the contract and form part of the contractual agreement between the buyer and the seller. Independent sellers are solely responsible for ensuring that such conditions are lawful, transparent, and properly applied.
Trasido does not review, approve, or enforce individual seller return policies and shall not be liable for the manner in which independent sellers handle returns or refunds, except to the extent required by applicable law. However, Trasido reserves the right to take appropriate measures under its Terms & Conditions, including restricting or suspending seller access to the Platform, where there is evidence of repeated non-compliance with legal obligations or abuse of consumer rights.
3. Returns of Products Sold Directly by Trasido
Where products or services are sold directly by Trasido, operated by AC/DC d.o.o., AC/DC d.o.o. acts as the legal seller and assumes responsibility for handling returns in accordance with applicable European Union and Slovenian consumer protection legislation.
Consumers purchasing physical goods directly from Trasido generally have the statutory right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) days from the date on which the goods are received, without providing a reason, unless a statutory exception applies. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must clearly inform Trasido of the decision to withdraw from the contract within the applicable withdrawal period using the contact details provided on the Platform.
Following the exercise of the right of withdrawal, the consumer is required to return the product without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which the withdrawal notification was submitted. Returned products must be sent back in a condition that allows verification of their nature, characteristics, and functioning. Handling that goes beyond what is necessary for such verification may result in a reduction of the refund amount, in accordance with applicable law.
Trasido reserves the right to refuse returns or adjust refund amounts where returned products show signs of damage, excessive wear, missing components, or other deterioration attributable to handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature or functioning of the product, to the extent permitted by applicable consumer protection legislation.
Refunds for products returned in accordance with statutory withdrawal rights shall be issued without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the date Trasido receives the returned product or proof of return, using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless the consumer expressly agrees otherwise.
The provisions of this section do not affect consumer rights relating to defective or non-conforming products, which remain governed by applicable laws on product conformity and statutory warranties. Where a product sold directly by Trasido is defective or does not conform to contractual requirements, consumers may be entitled to remedies provided under applicable law, including repair, replacement, price reduction, or contract termination, as appropriate.
4. Digital Products and Non-Returnable Items
Digital products supplied through the Platform may include downloadable files, software, digital licences, multimedia content, electronically delivered services, or other forms of digital content. Due to the nature of digital products, different return and withdrawal rules may apply compared to physical goods.
Where digital products are supplied electronically and delivery begins immediately after purchase, the statutory right of withdrawal may no longer apply if the buyer has provided prior express consent to the commencement of performance and has acknowledged that such consent results in the loss of the right of withdrawal, in accordance with applicable European Union and Slovenian consumer protection legislation. Buyers are informed of this condition before completing the purchase.
Digital products may be subject to licensing terms, usage restrictions, technical protection measures, or compatibility requirements. Certain categories of physical goods may also be excluded from return or withdrawal rights under applicable law. These may include personalised or custom-made products, sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed, and products that by their nature cannot be returned after delivery. Where such exclusions apply, they will be clearly communicated to buyers prior to purchase.
The provisions of this section apply equally to digital products and non-returnable items offered either by independent sellers or directly by Trasido, with the responsible supplier remaining liable for compliance with applicable legal requirements relating to such products.
5. Return Shipping Costs
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated in the relevant product listing or seller return conditions, the cost of returning products shall be borne by the buyer. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that returned products are properly packaged and shipped in a manner that prevents damage during transit.
Where a return is initiated due to a defective, damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming product, return shipping costs shall be borne by the responsible supplier, whether the product was sold by an independent seller or directly by Trasido, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. The responsible supplier may provide return shipping instructions, prepaid return labels, or reimbursement of reasonable return shipping expenses, where required by law or agreed as part of the return process.
In transactions involving independent sellers, buyers must follow the return instructions provided by the respective seller. Trasido does not arrange or manage return shipping for products sold by independent sellers and shall not be liable for return shipping disputes, delays, or shipping-related losses arising from arrangements made between buyers and independent sellers.
Where products are sold directly by Trasido, AC/DC d.o.o. may provide return shipping instructions and, where applicable, designate approved carriers or return procedures to ensure safe and efficient handling of returned goods. Buyers may be required to use specified return methods where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the return process or to comply with logistics or regulatory requirements.
The risk of loss or damage to returned goods remains with the buyer until the product is received by the responsible supplier, unless applicable law provides otherwise. Buyers are therefore encouraged to use tracked and insured shipping methods when returning products.
Nothing in this section shall limit mandatory consumer rights relating to defective or non-conforming products, which remain governed by applicable law.
6. Refunds
Refunds for returned products depend on whether the product or service was supplied by an independent seller or directly by Trasido, as identified on the relevant product listing and order confirmation.
Where products or services are supplied by independent sellers, such sellers are solely responsible for processing refunds in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation and their own return conditions, as communicated to the buyer prior to purchase. Trasido provides technical tools to facilitate communication between buyers and sellers but does not process or guarantee refunds for transactions conducted with independent sellers, except where required by applicable law or where Platform policies expressly provide otherwise.
Where products or services are supplied directly by Trasido, operated by AC/DC d.o.o., refunds shall be processed in accordance with applicable European Union and Slovenian consumer protection legislation. Where consumers exercise their statutory right of withdrawal, Trasido shall reimburse all payments received from the consumer, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which Trasido is informed of the consumer's decision to withdraw from the contract. Trasido may withhold reimbursement until the returned product has been received or the consumer has provided proof of return, whichever occurs first.
Refunds shall normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless the consumer expressly agrees to an alternative payment method and provided that the consumer does not incur additional costs as a result of such alternative method.
Where a returned product shows diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, or functioning of the product, Trasido reserves the right to reduce the refund amount in accordance with applicable law.
For digital products supplied directly by Trasido, refunds or contractual remedies may be available where the digital product is defective, inaccessible, or does not conform to contractual specifications, in accordance with applicable digital content legislation. Refund eligibility for digital products may be limited where the consumer has consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the statutory withdrawal right.
Refund processing times may vary depending on payment service providers, financial institutions, or technical processing requirements. Trasido shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party payment providers or financial institutions, provided that refunds have been initiated in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
7. Exclusions and Abuse Prevention
The right to return products and obtain refunds is subject to limitations and exclusions permitted under applicable European Union and Slovenian consumer protection legislation. Certain categories of products may not be eligible for return or withdrawal, including products that are personalised or custom-made, sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed, digital products supplied electronically where delivery has begun with the buyer's prior consent, and products that by their nature cannot be returned after delivery.
Trasido and independent sellers reserve the right to refuse or restrict return requests where there is reasonable evidence of misuse, abuse, or fraudulent exercise of return rights, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Such circumstances may include repeated or excessive return behaviour indicating intentional misuse of consumer protection rights, returns of products that have been used beyond reasonable inspection, intentional damage to products, or attempts to return products that differ from those originally supplied.
The exercise of statutory withdrawal rights must be carried out in good faith and in accordance with applicable legal requirements. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that returned products correspond to the original purchase and that all components, accessories, and documentation supplied with the product are returned where reasonably required.
Where abuse of return rights is identified, Trasido may take appropriate measures in accordance with its Terms & Conditions, including restricting access to return privileges, limiting Platform functionality, or suspending user accounts, where such measures are justified and proportionate under applicable law.
Nothing in this section shall limit mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded or restricted under applicable legislation. Any assessment of return eligibility shall be carried out in compliance with applicable legal standards and consumer protection obligations.

General inquiries relating to the operation of the Platform, the application of this Returns Policy, or technical issues may be directed to Trasido via the official contact details published on the Platform. Trasido does not provide legal advice or intervene in return disputes between buyers and independent sellers, except where required by applicable law or Platform policies.
9. Relationship with Other Policies
This Returns Policy forms an integral part of the Trasido Platform legal framework and must be read together with the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Notice, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Cookies Policy, Seller Agreement, and any additional policies or guidelines published on the Platform.
In the event of any inconsistency between this Returns Policy and the Terms & Conditions or other Platform policies, the provisions of the Terms & Conditions shall prevail unless mandatory consumer protection legislation requires otherwise. Where applicable law grants consumers additional rights that cannot be waived or limited, such statutory provisions shall take precedence over this Returns Policy.
