
SHIPPING POLICY – TRASIDO
This Shipping Policy governs the shipment and delivery of physical products purchased through the Trasido marketplace platform (the “Platform”). This Policy forms an integral part of the Platform’s Terms and Conditions and applies to all transactions involving physical goods requiring transportation to the buyer.
1. Scope of Application
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders involving physical products purchased through the Platform. The Policy does not apply to digital products, downloadable content, or electronically supplied services, which are delivered through digital transmission methods and governed by separate contractual provisions.
Shipping obligations depend on the identity of the supplier responsible for the product listing. Products available through the Platform may be supplied either by independent third-party sellers or directly by AC/DC d.o.o. operating under the Trasido brand. The responsible supplier for each transaction is clearly identified within the product listing and during the checkout process.
This Policy is drafted in accordance with applicable European Union and Slovenian consumer protection legislation and shall be interpreted in a manner consistent with mandatory statutory consumer rights.
2. Shipping Responsibilities and Supplier Obligations
Where physical products are offered by independent sellers, such sellers act as the legal suppliers and remain solely responsible for organising, managing, and fulfilling all shipping and delivery obligations. This includes the selection of shipping methods, engagement of logistics providers, compliance with applicable transportation regulations, packaging standards, customs documentation, and delivery execution within the timeframes communicated to buyers.
AC/DC d.o.o. operates the Platform as a digital intermediary facilitating transactions between buyers and sellers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, AC/DC d.o.o. does not act as a logistics provider, transportation service operator, distributor, importer, or contracting party in shipping arrangements relating to products supplied by independent sellers.
Where physical products are sold directly by Trasido, AC/DC d.o.o. acts as the legal seller and assumes responsibility for arranging shipment and delivery in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation and contractual delivery terms communicated prior to purchase.
3. Shipping Methods and Logistics Providers
Shipping methods, delivery services, and logistics providers are determined by the responsible supplier for each transaction. Suppliers may utilise postal operators, courier services, freight carriers, or third-party logistics providers to fulfil delivery obligations.
The Platform may provide shipping integrations, carrier selection tools, or estimated delivery options solely to facilitate order processing. The availability of such tools shall not be interpreted as AC/DC d.o.o. providing transportation services or assuming liability for carrier performance.
All available shipping methods and delivery options are presented to buyers prior to order confirmation and form part of the contractual delivery arrangement between the buyer and the responsible supplier.
4. Shipping Fees and Charges
Shipping fees applicable to orders placed through the Platform are determined by the responsible supplier and are disclosed to buyers prior to the completion of the purchase.
Shipping charges may vary depending on factors including product size, weight, destination, selected delivery method, handling requirements, or logistical constraints. Independent sellers are solely responsible for ensuring that shipping charges and related surcharges are accurately disclosed and compliant with applicable consumer protection legislation.
Where physical products are sold directly by Trasido, AC/DC d.o.o. determines shipping costs and reserves the right to adjust shipping fees where reasonably necessary to reflect changes in logistics costs, carrier pricing, or regulatory requirements, provided that such fees are disclosed prior to order confirmation.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, shipping fees do not include customs duties, import taxes, value-added tax (VAT), or other governmental charges imposed in the destination jurisdiction.
5. Processing and Delivery Timeframes
Processing time refers to the period required to verify orders, prepare goods for shipment, and transfer goods to the selected carrier. Delivery time refers to the estimated duration required for shipment from dispatch to delivery.
Estimated processing and delivery timeframes displayed on the Platform represent indicative estimates and do not constitute guaranteed delivery deadlines unless expressly confirmed in writing. Delivery performance may be affected by carrier performance, customs clearance procedures, supply chain disruptions, weather conditions, regulatory inspections, or other circumstances beyond reasonable operational control.
Where products are supplied by independent sellers, such sellers remain solely responsible for delivery performance. Where products are supplied directly by Trasido, AC/DC d.o.o. undertakes reasonable efforts to meet communicated delivery estimates but does not guarantee fixed delivery dates unless explicitly agreed.
6. International Shipping and Customs Compliance
The Platform may facilitate cross-border shipments within and outside the European Union. International shipments may be subject to customs clearance procedures, import duties, taxes, regulatory inspections, or local compliance requirements imposed by destination authorities.
Independent sellers remain solely responsible for compliance with export regulations, customs documentation requirements, and international shipping laws applicable to their products. Buyers remain responsible for payment of import duties, customs clearance fees, taxes, and regulatory charges imposed by destination authorities, unless otherwise expressly stated during checkout.
AC/DC d.o.o. shall not be liable for delays, delivery restrictions, or additional costs arising from customs processing, regulatory inspections, or governmental actions beyond reasonable control.
7. Risk of Loss and Transfer of Responsibility
The allocation of risk relating to loss, damage, or deterioration of goods during shipment shall be determined in accordance with applicable European Union and Slovenian consumer protection legislation and the identity of the responsible supplier.
Where physical products are sold by independent sellers, the transfer of risk shall be governed by the contractual relationship between the buyer and the seller, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
Where physical products are sold directly by Trasido, the risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer upon delivery of the goods to the buyer or to a third party designated by the buyer, in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
8. Failed Delivery and Incorrect Shipping Information
Buyers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information at the time of order placement. AC/DC d.o.o. and independent sellers shall not be liable for delivery delays, failed delivery attempts, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the buyer or the buyer's failure to accept delivery.
Where delivery attempts fail due to buyer-related circumstances, the responsible supplier may charge reasonable additional delivery, storage, or handling fees or may cancel the order in accordance with applicable law and communicated contractual conditions.
9. Tracking and Delivery Notifications
Where available, buyers may receive shipment tracking information and delivery notifications generated by independent sellers, third-party logistics providers, or Trasido. Tracking information is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute proof of delivery performance or acceptance of goods.
The availability, accuracy, and timeliness of tracking data depend on third-party carrier systems. AC/DC d.o.o. undertakes reasonable efforts to provide tracking information where available but does not guarantee uninterrupted tracking functionality or real-time data accuracy.
10. Claims for Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments
Buyers must submit claims relating to lost, damaged, or delayed shipments to the responsible supplier identified in the product listing. Independent sellers remain responsible for resolving delivery claims relating to shipments arranged by them.
Where shipments are arranged directly by Trasido, AC/DC d.o.o. shall investigate delivery claims and provide remedies in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation and the Platform's Returns and Refund Policies.
AC/DC d.o.o. shall not be liable for delivery failures caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, or force majeure events, except where liability arises under mandatory applicable law.
11. Relationship with Other Platform Policies
This Shipping Policy forms an integral part of the Platform's legal framework and must be read together with the Terms and Conditions, Returns Policy, Refund Policy, Privacy Notice, Cookies Policy, and Seller Agreement.
In the event of inconsistencies between this Shipping Policy and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions shall prevail unless mandatory consumer protection legislation provides otherwise.
